Artist/Designer/Illustrator James Nocito received his BA in Art from Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, and did graduate work at Columbia University, New York City. His paintings have been exhibited in such formats as Littlejohn-Smith Gallery, New York, The Palm Springs Desert Museum of Art and The San Bernardino County Museum. His trailblazing book, FOUND LIVES: A Collection of Found Photographs was published by Gibbs Smith Publisher. In it, he pairs snapshots from the turn of the century through the '50s with poetry and quotations that illuminate the contents of the photos.
